Machines are listed for reference and comparison: no brand is presented as a winner, and every technical value on the model pages carries a data label so you can tell an official specification from a manufacturer claim.

The Core Principle
Compare what matters, not just marketing claims.
Tray area, usable batch capacity, cycle expectations, pump type, electrical requirements, dimensions, maintenance, operating environment, support, warranty and cost. Manufacturer claims are always labeled as claims, and a value that is not published is marked Not Published rather than guessed.
Market Tiers (functional, not qualitative)
Each model is classified into exactly one tier. Tiers describe intended scale and workload, not quality: a HOME machine is not worse than a commercial one, it is sized differently.
Household volumes, occasional to regular batches.
Frequent batches, larger loads, side business or pet food production.
Heavier home-to-small-business throughput on a single machine.
Production-scale throughput, facility electrical service, trained operation.
The Data Label System
Every technical value on every model page and comparison carries one of these labels. Types are never blended, and a claim is never converted into a fact.

How These Model Records Are Built
Every model page in this database was created as verified, documented information became available from each manufacturer. A planned URL is not information: each record below only exists because its values could be sourced from official manufacturer materials, and anything that could not be verified is marked Not Published.

Manufacturer guidance vs. WeFreezeDryIt experience
Model pages keep two sources strictly separate. Manufacturer Guidance comes from the official manual: procedures, specifications, safety requirements and maintenance instructions, cited to the document. WeFreezeDryIt Experience is what we observed running a machine in our own work: results, notes and impressions. The two are never merged, and a statement from one is never presented as the other.
About this site's machine
WeFreezeDryIt operates a StayFresh Mega (spelled StayFresh Mega as per the brand brief). Its model page now exists and is verified from the manufacturer's published materials. Documented usage observations from our own operation will appear in that page's Real-World Data section when they are recorded; nothing is invented in the meantime.
Comparing machines
The comparison tool at equipment/compare/ now lets you pick 2 to 4 machines and compare them on documented fields: capacity, shelf area, batch capacity, pump type, power, dimensions and intended use. Comparisons only became useful after model pages held verified data, and any field without a verified value renders as Not Published rather than being filled with a guess.
Not available is honest. Where reliable documented information is not available, the pages say it is not available. This site never fills verification gaps with guesses, and it never presents one brand's manual as universal guidance.
